A primeira edição do ARTUR é composta por um colectivo de seis artistas, dois internacionais, três nacionais e um local. São eles, Alexandros Vasmoulakis da Grécia, António Bokel do Brasil, Fidel Évora do Barreiro, ±MAISMENOS± do Porto, Paulo Arraiano de Cascais e Jorge Pereira de Lagos.
A selecção destes artistas foi feita com base no talento individual e na experiência colectiva que desenvolvem um pouco por todo o mundo.
Nos 20 dias de residência, os artistas tiveram total liberdade para desenvolver o seu projecto. Para além da cedência de celas individuais, todo o espaço colectivo no interior e exterior da Antiga Cadeia de Lagos esteve disponível para intervenção, adaptação ou criação artística, no âmbito de facilitar e incutir a troca de experiências entre os artistas residentes.
